Leftover rice Welithalapa


Ingredients

cooked rice (red or white) -3 cups
sugar- 125g
scraped coconut -2 cups
salt 
cardamom - 3 or 4
cinnamon powder - 1 tbsp.
cashews (optional)
coconut treacle (optional)
hot water -1/2 cup

Method

step1 : Add sugar to a pan and make a golden brown color caramel by heating.
           Then add hot water to the caramel and let it turn into brown color

Step 2: add scraped coconut, coconut treacle, salt, cinnamon powder, cardamom, cashews and rice to                  the pan. Mix them until you get a brown color mixture

Step 3: put the mixture into a tray and cut the pieces...
